As the 2021/22 season swiftly approaches, I think all clubs are hoping that after two seasons of disruption, things can start to return to some semblance of normality again. Pre-season has been mixed, with a number of players and coaching staff taking the opportunity of the relaxation of lockdown restrictions to see loved ones or take a much-needed holiday. Whilst this has made fielding a consistent and settled side a challenge, it has nonetheless given opportunities to a number of our under 18s players, as well as other triallists. The 1st team have nonetheless started to now hit a bit of form, just in time for our season opener on Wednesday 18 August where we face a tricky away trip to Hardwicke in the Gloucestershire County League.

We are also pleased to announce the formation of a new Saturday ‘D’ team, as well as our first open-aged Sunday team.
