Jubilee Celebrations

Congratulations and appreciation to all who organised and took part in a wide variety of musical and other events to mark this unique occasion.

The events on Frenchay Common on the 4th June featured The Concord Band, (above), a combined choir of Frenchay Foxes and the Church Choir (below), and ‘The Provision’

Mozart could not have envisaged a finer setting for his Clarinet Quintet than Frenchay Chapel on a sunny Jubilee afternoon. The work was first performed in 1789, and also featured in the final episode of MASH!
