Probus Club Events

Frenchay Probus Club continues to meet, but it had to cope with some late re-arrangements for the meeting on 6th July. The original speaker unfortunately fell and broke his hip in the prior week, and then the replacement speaker had to pull out on the day before, due to Covid.

However in stepped local member Geoff Pegler to give a most entertaining talk on ‘My Life in Music’, illustrated by some very accomplished playing of three very different instruments, in turn, the violin, the accordion, and the bagpipes. Worthy of ‘Britain’s got Talent‘ any time!

There is no early August meeting on account of the holiday season, but we look forward to the Summer Lunch to be held at Bristol Golf Club on the 24th August.
