As the funeral of our late Queen, Elizabeth II, was being held on the date of our monthly meeting in September it was decided, as a mark of respect, to cancel the meeting. We received many messages of support for this decision from our members. We are looking forward to holding our October meeting and hearing from Avon and Somerset Police about avoiding scams.

In November we hold our Annual Meeting, when the new committee is elected. At this meeting we also have Country Markets who bring their homemade food items (jam, chutney, cakes, scones etc as well as craft items) which is a great opportunity to purchase some early Christmas gifts. Payment can be made by card or cash.

Any ladies who would like to come and see what we are about with a view to joining us would be very welcome. We meet at 7.30pm on the third Monday of the month at Frenchay Village Hall.
