Village Open Evening Report
More than one hundred people attended the Village Open Evening on Tuesday evening in Frenchay Primary School. The event was organised by the Residents Association with the aim of providing an informal forum to meet members of other groups and discuss future plans for Frenchay. Many of the groups were also looking to recruit new members and volunteers at the event. The principal groups represented were:
- Residents Association
- Preservation Society
- Parish Church (Eco Project)
- Unitarian Chapel (Bristol Unitarians)
- Village Museum (Tuckett Society)
- Probus Club
- Foxes Women’s Choir
- Downend & Frenchay Tennis Club
- Frenchay Tennis Club
- Yoga Group
- Flower Show
- Frenchay & Hambrook Horticulural Society
On a personal note, it was a great pleasure to meet so many people in Frenchay with whom I have so far only communicated with by email!
