Village Hall Update

The Frenchay Village Hall Committee would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. We are looking forward to starting work on some of the exciting improvements to the Hall in 2023 to make it an even more attractive local venue.

We were busy last year gathering ideas and working up plans for the improvements using the Section 106 funding from the Redrow development. The provisional plans are now displayed on the noticeboard at the Hall and were recently exhibited at the FRA Village meeting in November 2022. If you haven’t seen these yet please do stop by to see what changes will be taking place over the course of the year.

Treasurer required in 2023

After a number of years of valuable service, our current treasurer is stepping down during 2023. We are therefore seeking a replacement for this role. Ideally, we are looking for someone with relevant financial knowledge and skills, or experience in a similar role.

You will be a key member of the Committee, which meets on the third Monday of each month. As well as day to day book-keeping, the role involves budgeting and financial reporting.
