Report on the Frenchay 10k Charity Race

The Frenchay 10k Charity Road Race went ahead on Sunday 24th April with a field of over 700 a record field of over 700 runners entered.

The race passed very smoothly, and we were delighted, as a race committee, with the incredibly positive feedback we received from runners and spectators alike.

As always, all participants received a commemorative mug, much sought after, and a regular feature over the years.

The weather on the day was glorious, and everyone was delighted to see the race being held being held again, after a three-year break because of the pandemic.

Runners

Our two nominated charities, Ronald McDonald House Bristol, and Freewheelers EVS, both provided many volunteers to help with marshalling and we anticipate being able to make a significant donation to each charity.

The race committee will be meeting in the autumn to start the planning for the 41st.

We look forward to another successful event!
